OUR PROJECTS

Located in the Rwimi town council industrial park, LLK AGRO LTD covers an area of approximately two acres. The company's vision is to develop this facility into a self-sustaining grain processing center that supports the local farming community and addresses challenges of unemployment and gender inequality. Currently, LLK AGRO LTD is actively engaged in the following projects:

1500 Metric Tonne Maize Storage System

LLK AGRO is set to construct a cutting-edge maize storage facility at its Rwimi headquarters, with a capacity of 1500 metric tonnes. The goal is to distribute up to 3000 metric tonnes of processed maize products every year. The new system will comprise two silos, each capable of holding 750 metric tonnes of grain until the end of the season. This will ensure a steady supply of corn products throughout the year, benefiting both small and medium-sized enterprises as well as consumers.

The system is designed to feature advanced equipment that will facilitate post-harvest processes such as cleaning, drying, and moisture content estimation. This will significantly enhance the quality of maize delivered to the mill by farmers and offer them an affordable means of grain handling.

Flour Milling Facility

LLK AGRO is currently in the process of building a cutting-edge maize milling facility in Rwimi, covering approximately 400 square meters. The facility will comprise of two compact milling stations, equipped with state-of-the-art machinery, capable of producing up to 15 tonnes of maize per day.

Upon completion, the facility is expected to create job opportunities for an additional 50 full-time staff. As an equal opportunity employer, LLK AGRO hopes that the establishment of the facility will positively impact the lives of people in the Bunyangabu district.

 Distribution Center

LLK AGRO LTD is set to establish a distribution facility at its headquarters in Rwimi Town Council, which will function as the central distribution point for all processed maize products from its milling facility. The facility will not only serve as a marketing hub for small and medium-sized enterprises but also cater to institutions such as schools and hospitals. We are committed to creating a society that places a premium on food security for western Uganda. The construction of the distribution facility is expected to commence in mid-2023 and will play a crucial role in achieving this objective.
